RELEASE FOR REPAIRS AND/OR SALE.   I hereby authorize Rocky Mountain Computer and Cable, LLC,  9604 East Arapahoe Road, Greenwood Village, Colorado, 80112,   to make required diagnostic or required repairs / builds to my computer component.   I understand the shop rate is $109 an hour plus the cost for any needed parts and/or software.  I also understand there is a minimum charge of $89 which begins at the commencement of the diagnostics required for the computer component.  $149.00 an hour is charged for on-site work, 1 hour minimum. All Macintosh / Apple Computers will be charged at $119.00 an hour in shop rate.   I understand there is a $149 an hour same day rush fee in store labor price.  I understand that RMCC has a lien on the computer until the computer work is paid for in full.  Should a virus be found on a PC / MAC computer, than the fee shall than be $109.00 to clean the virus off the computer, though this may not be a complete repair, but shall automatically become the minimum diagnostic / repair price if a virus is found (voiding the $75.00 minimum).  It is understood that the final charge may exceed the “Estimate observation”.  RMCC offers no refunds for any parts/computers/printers sold by RMCC, though there is an exchange only policy at RMCC's discretion, with a possible 50% restocking fee. RMCC is authorized to hold my credit card information and charge accordingly for work/parts/computer/software sold to me on a C.O.D. basis.  Should the computer need additional work past the initial pickup, RMCC shall charge above respective rate for additional time spent.  All systems (ie. not limited to all computer, printer, and phone components) left for over 45 days without payment will be considered abandoned by client.  I understand that repair Replacement parts may be refurbished, including the computer I am purchasing.  I understand that computers and parts sold to me by RMCC may be new, used, and/or refurbished.  I further recognize that RMCC is not liable and will not guarantee any repair or service that includes my old computer parts and old software.  I understand that most repairs take from between 1 to 21 days, sometimes longer. Longer if parts/software must be ordered, and or system was dropped and/or spillage occurred to computer prior to client bringing system to RMCC.  RMCC reserves the right to password protect computers until they are paid for in full.  A $7.50 a day fee will be charged for all computers left over 1 week of completion of computer, accruing until computer is picked up, at RMCC's discretion.  I understand that RMCC has limited space and will charge the $7.50 a day fee for storage if the computer is abandoned at RMCC past 45 days.  All charges for labor and material are due at the time the computer component is returned to client Cash On Delivery.  A 1.5 % interest amount per month compounded amount shall be placed on all returned checks to RMCC and for all orders not paid COD.  The client acknowledges that there is a $50.00 fee for any returned checks.  Rocky Mountain Computer does not have price guarantees, which I, the client accept.  I understand that if the computer component requires shipment to either of our principal repair centers, there will be an additional charge for shipping and insurance.  If RMCC is asked to perform repair work on -site, including warranty work, there will be an on-site charge, for that work.  Should there be an RMCC rebate / refund for any reason, including a computer trade by me to RMCC, I agree that it is acceptable payment to be by Paypal Merchant services, and those funds to be sent  to my email address within 30 days. I agree that it is acceptable payment to be by Paypal Merchant services, On site client agrees to give credit card info prior to on site service.  All full Warranties are done in shop.  Warranty void if anyone else works/repairs/programs on the computer past RMCC original administrator programming.  I understand that RMCC is not responsible for consequential damages, and  RMCC is not responsible for clients loss 1) of original data 2)  music  3) or any files and/or data.   In the event of a dispute, the prevailing party is entitled to legal fees, collection fees, attorney fees, and court costs in addition to judgment, if any.  All legal notices shall be sent to the registered agent of RMCC.  In the event of Insurance Loss and/or Peril, the client shall limit the amount of damage to two thousand dollars maximum total loss on all computers, phones, and all data.   RMCC is not responsible if client does not have original software CD roms, and client will be charged if software licenses are necessary.  There is a minimum restocking fee of 50% for any order, cancelled order, etc, and a 50% restocking fee for any cell phones refund.    The customer will be charged for original software CD’s provided for those repairs at RMCC’s discretion if client does not have software disks/CD‘s.  RMCC to be held free and harmless for computers picked up before completion by RMCC due to clients need for computer returned before completion of repair.  If client has MSN internet, through MSN dialup and /or DSL, client will pay an additional $105 an hour setup fee for time to setup MSN internet.  I acknowledge that viruses/adware may corrupt my data and data may not be accessible in RMCC's data backup service.   All RMCC Warranties are void if Kazza, Limewire, WinMX, Bearshare, or any other free file sharing software is used/installed by the client.  However, Itunes shall not void the warranty and RMCC will setup Mac ITnues for a service fee if requested.   If there is any work above or beyond this time charged in the initial invoice, I agree to pay an extended price to RMCC for their additional services.  The work related to the repair of the computer component entitles the customer to a 30 day warranty for parts and labor (unless the Original Equipment Manufacturer specifies a longer period).  HOWEVER, THIS WARRANTY IS AUTOMATICALLY VOIDED IF DURING THIS PERIOD THE CUSTOMER INSTALLS ANY ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE WITHOUT WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM RMCC, OR ENCOUNTERS A VIRUS FROM ANY SOURCE, I.E. COPYING DISKS RECEIVED FROM NON-VENDOR THIRD-PARTIES OR OBTAINING SOFTWARE FROM AN INTERNET DOWNLOAD.
